Which membrane and shower systems does EM Tile install?
We install Schluter-Systems uncoupling, DITRA-HEAT floor-warming and KERDI shower systems, plus MAPEI membranes and RedGard liquid waterproofing. Our shower waterproofing page lists the individual products, boards, trays, drains and sound-reduction options. We coordinate with a licensed electrician who makes the electrical connection.
What does EM Tile’s installation warranty cover?
Our Lifetime Workmanship Warranty covers our installation work: tile setting, grout, waterproofing and underlayment we install. It covers workmanship only — tile and materials are covered by their manufacturers’ warranties. It is valid for as long as the original client owns the home and does not transfer to a new owner. Not covered: foundation or structural movement; plumbing leaks; impact damage or improper cleaning; defective tile supplied by the client; alterations or repairs done by others. Who purchases the tile, and what materials does EM Tile supply?
You choose and purchase the tile. We supply the installation materials: mortar, grout, membranes, waterproofing, trims and sealants. We can advise on tile quantities and suitable formats before you purchase.
How do I request a free tile installation estimate?
Send us photos, measurements and a description of the scope. We provide a free estimate after reviewing those details. We do not publish price ranges.
Who arranges permits and building or condo approvals?
The client arranges permits and building or condo approvals when they are required.
Does EM Tile have a minimum job size?
No. We have no minimum job size.
Can EM Tile remove existing tile and dispose of the debris?
Yes. We remove old tile and take away the debris.
