Numbered Mosaic Floor in Downtown Toronto
A large “416” motif is set within a white mosaic floor in Downtown Toronto. Two views show the dark numbered detail and its position across the wider floor. The strong contrast makes the mosaic pattern the centre of the design.

Numbered mosaic floor in Downtown Toronto
A white mosaic floor with a contrasting numerical motif was installed in Downtown Toronto. The close view highlights the individual pieces that make up the graphic; the wider photograph places the pattern within the surrounding tiled area.
Detail view and wider setting
The close view makes the edges of the dark numerals easier to read against the small white pieces. The wider image shows the motif in relation to the surrounding tile field and room edges. The lighting gives the photographs a coloured cast; it should not be treated as a reliable colour sample for a tile purchase.
Pattern within a small-format field
Small mosaic pieces allow a graphic to sit inside the main surface rather than appear as a separate large tile. Here the dark numerical shape is the distinctive visible feature. No precise mosaic dimensions, stone composition or product brand are available for this project, so a new design should start with actual samples and a layout drawing.
Preparing a graphic-floor request
If you are considering a numbered, lettered or contrasting mosaic feature, send a drawing of the intended motif and measurements of the entire tiled area. Mark entrances and the direction from which it will usually be viewed. The Downtown Toronto guide discusses access planning; the mosaic and pattern tile service is the related starting point for the decorative layout.
